Zhang Lu (Han dynasty)

Zhang Lu (Chinese张鲁/张鲁, Pinyin Zhang Lǔ, W.-G. Chang Lu ;) Zì: Gongqi (Chinese公 祺, Pinyin Gōngqí, W.-G. Kung- chi) was the commander of Hanzhong in advance of the the Three Kingdoms period in ancient China.

He held the post and the movement of five bushels of rice ( see Skymaster ) inherited from his father or his grandfather Zhang Heng Zhang Daoling. Zhang Lu was attacked 212 of warlord Cao Cao and was able to hold at first thanks to his minister Yan Pu. But after three years, he was finally forced to surrender to Cao Cao. So Cao Cao won control of the important border town of Hanzhong and therefore dominated the northern China.
