Zheng Guogu

Zheng Guogu (* 1970 in Yangjiang ) is a Chinese artist.

Life

Zheng was born in 1970 the son of an instrument maker and musician in Yangjiang and studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Guangzhou. He works with photography, installation, painting and sculpture. His favorite topic of modern China and its society belongs. Often his works are mixed with calligraphic characters. Photographs, he often arranged like a storyboard. His works can be found in major collections such as the collection of Charles Saatchi. In 2007 he participated in the documenta 12 in part.

Zheng lives and works in Yangjiang.
