Ziegra-Knobelsdorf

Ziegra- Knobelsdorfstrasse was a municipality in the district of Central Saxony, Saxony. She belonged to the administrative community Waldheim. The seat of the municipality was located in the district Ziegra. The church was re- formed on 1 January 1994 by the merger of the then independent municipalities Gebersbach - Knobelsdorfstrasse and Ziegra. On January 1, 2013, it was dissolved and divided between the neighboring towns of chub and Waldheim.

Geography

The community was about 5 km southwest of the city chub and 5 kilometers north of Waldheim above the valley of Zschopau. The districts Wöllsdorf and Töpeln lay directly in Zschopautal. Half of the municipality was in the conservation area Zschopautal.

Traffic

Due to the north of the former town site, the place Töpeln, the B runs 175 and east by Heyda the B 169 The former community is also on the A14 connections chub - chub - North or East ( about 10 kilometers) or the A 4 port Hainichen (about 20 km ) to reach. Limmritz lies on the railway line Riesa- Chemnitz and Elsterwerda and Chemnitz served by regional trains running every hour.

Education
