Zinkensdamm metro station

Zinkensdamm is an underground station of the Stockholm Metro. It is located in the Södermalm district. The station is owned by the Röda linjen the Stockholm subway system operated. It belongs to the rather moderate frequented stations of the metro network. On a normal working day 6,000 commuters to climb here.

The station was taken on April 5, 1964 in operation, as the first section of Röda was inaugurated linjen between T- centralen and Fruängen or Örnsberg. The station was built in an open design, the platforms are located approximately 19 meters below the ground. The station is located between the stations Hornstull and Mariatorget. Stockholm Central Station is 2.5 km.
