Zinseler

The Zinseler (Italian Cima di Stilves ) is a 2422 m slm m high mountain in the Sarntaler Alps in Italy. The name of the mountain can probably be traced back to a source; " Zinselen " means gushing irregular.

Location

The Zinseler is north of the Alps Sarntaler and is considered a local mountain of the north-eastern village Stilfes (Italian Stilves ). Northeast runs the Eisacktal, in the north- west lies the Jaufental. In the south, a ridge over the chicken game is played ( Cima Specola, 2,376 m) to Penser Joch ( 2,211 m). The pass road to Penser yoke through the south-eastern flank of the Zinselers.

Routes to the summit

The normal route (marked mountain trail ) begins at Penser yoke 2,211. He first leads into the depression of the Jaufentalerjöchls ( 2,171 m) and then at the edge of the chicken game along via a connecting ridge in just over an hour to the summit ..

More marked hiking trails lead from the Jaufental from the hamlet Gospeneid ( Caspineto, 1422 m), in about four hours of Sterzing on the northwest, and by Stilfes ( Stilves ) of the northeast and finally on the east ridge to the summit. From Gospeneid as well as the Penser Joch road of Zinseler in winter is to climb as a ski tour.

At the top there are several Steinmandln.
