Zlatan Stipišić Gibonni

Zlatan Stipišić Gibonni ( born August 13, 1968 in Split) is a Croatian musician and composer.

Life

During his school years Gibonni started performing with various bands from Split. The most famous band was osmium Putnik. Between his 16th and 19th year of life, he was here as a singer and composer. During this time, the band released three albums out.

1989 and 1990 spent Gibonni in Berlin, as a member of the band V2. During this time, the album was out to lunch.

After his return to Split, he began his work as a composer. He composed, among others Songs for Dino Dvornik, Oliver Dragojević Tedi Spalato and. 1994 Oliver Dragojević was awarded for the song composed by Gibonni with the porin, in the categories of Hit of the Year and Best Male execution. The latter award was the interpreter during 1995 and is the only musician who has been awarded for the same title in two different years.

His first album Sat ili bez mene mnom appeared in 1991. On 9 September 2000, he produced, in collaboration with the Croatian Telecom (HT) the HTisdn Millennium Koncert. In this multi-media event, Gibonni came to live in Rijeka. At the same time Klapa Cambi was from Zagreb Vlatko Stefanovski, a guitarist from Yugoslavia, and from Split also switched live. The concert was broadcast on the Internet.

Zlatan Stipišić Gibonni is since July 9, 2003 national UNICEF Ambassador for Croatia.

Its started in 2011 Tourne " Toleranca ," he concluded with a performance in front of 10,000 spectators in the amphitheater from Pula.
