Zlín Region

The Zlin region, Czech: Zlín, located to the east of the Czech Republic and is bordered to the east of Slovakia, national level in South Moravian Region and the regions of Olomouc and Moravia- Silesia. Landscape

The area is mostly mountainous, down to the level that runs along the river Morava and in the Moravian Slovakia in the area of Uherské Hradiště. In the north are the Moravian- Silesian Beskids, to the east lies the Javorníky and to the south the White Carpathians, also form the natural border with Slovakia extend. Economy

The circle is one of the regions with a rather outdated infrastructure, mainly due to the resolution of large farms and poor accessibility of the previously strong raw materials and intermediate products processing industry, which accounts for a share of 18 % of companies in the manufacturing industry. It is all about farms with processing of rubber and plastic (2% ), metal processing (27%), electrical engineering ( 14%), engineering ( 3%) and the food industry ( 5%). Social institutions

In 339 kindergartens, 237 primary schools, 14 secondary schools, 51 specialized secondary schools and 35 vocational schools to prepare them for working life.
