Zöllner (crater)

45.89

Zöllner is an impact crater on the moon, west of the sine Asperitatis. To the north is the smaller crater Alfraganus and in the northwest of the oval crater Taylor is emerging. Southeast of the crater lies Kant

The rim of publicans forms an irregular oval with the greatest expansion in North-South direction. The crater wall is low and worn. At the southeastern end of a distorted, crater-like depression connects. The narrow crater floor still has a central peak.

The landing site of Apollo 16 is located approximately 80 km west-southwest of the crater rim.
