Zoran Janković (water polo)

Zoran Janković ( born January 8, 1940 in Zenica, Yugoslavia; † 25 May 2002) was a Yugoslav water polo players.

He played with the Yugoslav water polo team 221 games and scored 259 goals. At the Olympic Games in 1964 in Tokyo, he won the silver medal with the team. He was elected in 1964 Sportsman of the Year. In 1968 he won with the team at the Olympic Games in Mexico the gold medal. 1967 and 1970 he won the European Championships bronze medals. He played for the Serbian club Partizan Belgrade VK. He was six times Yugoslav champion four times and won the Yugoslav Cup. In 2004 he was inducted into the International Swimming Hall of Fame.
