Zoran Simović

Zoran Simovic ( born November 2, 1954) is a former Yugoslav football player.

Career

Simovic began his career in 1975 at Napredak Kruševac and moved in 1980 to Hajduk Split. In 1983 he was elected to Yugoslavia Footballer of the Year and won the Yugoslav Cup in 1984 with Hajduk. In 1984 he moved to Turkey for Galatasaray Istanbul, where he was twice Turkish soccer champions. He also once won the Turkish Cup twice and the Turkish Supercup. In the time of his commitment in Istanbul the convening of any national Yugoslavia fell which took part in the European Football Championship 1984 in France. Simovic was used twice in this tournament, but Yugoslavia difference in the group stage. Simovic finished his career in 1990.
