Zu Ding

King Qie Ding (Chinese且 丁) (* BC; ? † 1434 BC) ruled as sixteenth or seventeenth king of the Shang dynasty for 32 years over China. He was the son of King Xin Qie, who was the nephew of the previous king Qiang Jia. Due to the recording in the historical works Zhushu Jinian the capital was during his era in Bì (Chinese庇). After this work, his reign lasted only nine years.
