Zu Jia

King Qie Jiǎ (Chinese且 甲) (* BC; ? † 1226 BC) ruled as the 25th or 26th king of the Shang dynasty for 33 years ( on the basis of historical work Zhushu Jinian ) about China. He was the younger brother of King Qie Geng.

The history book Shiji reports that he was vicious and without limit. Under his rule the Shang Dynasty to be once again fall apart.

The historical work Zhushu Jinian reported that in his 33 - year reign undertook a campaign against the Klan Xi Rong. In his earlier years in government, he could still care about the lives of ordinary people, but in his later years he aggravated the complex and rigorous penal laws, which the Shang Dynasty crumbled.
