Zubin Varla

Zubin Varla (* 1970 in London ) is a British actor and singer. He is a graduate of London's Guildhall School of Music & Drama.

A wider audience Varla was known by the role of Judas Iscariot, as implemented in the 1996 revival of the musical Jesus Christ Superstar. The recording of the staged at London's Lyceum Theatre performance was released as a music CD.

After Jesus Christ Superstar, he appeared in several productions of the West End, for example in Cyrano de Bergerac and Julius Caesar.

In 2001, he played the role of Saleem Sinai in the book written by Salman Rushdie Midnight's Children piece.
