Zupaysaurus ( "Devil's Six Men " ) is a genus theropod dinosaur from the Upper Triassic of South America.

Arcucci and Coria described in 2003 for the first time fossils of Zupaysaurus from the Argentine province of La Rioja. He is classified as Dilophosauride and may be one of the oldest genera of this family within the Coelophysoidea. Fossil evidence comes from the Upper Triassic ( Norian ).

Like its relative Dilophosaurus from Jurassic he also had two thin, crescent-shaped bony crests on the skull. His arms were, however, in proportion to its length of 4 meters shorter than in Dilophosaurus. His weight is uncertain. The estimates are between 50 and 200 kilograms. Its height was just under 1.5 meters. The name part " Zupay " comes from the Quechua, an indigenous language of the Andean region of South America.
