The Zurrieq FC is a Maltese football club from the city Zurrieq, which is currently in the Maltese Third Division. Venue is the Ta ' Qali Stadium, the national stadium of Malta.

History

The club was founded in 1949. The 1980s were very successful for the club. The club was founded in 1985 Maltese Cup winner. International one played in the 1982/83 season in the UEFA Cup and in the 1985/86 season and in the 1986/87 season in the European Cup winners.

Matches against German teams

1985 would retire in Europe Cup Winners' Cup against the German champions FC Bayer 05 Uerdingen to a 0:3 on September 17 at home and a 0:9 on 2 October at Grotenburg Stadium in Krefeld in the first round.
