Zwiesel and Blomberg

The 1248 m high Blomberg is the home mountain of Bad Tölz and both locals and day-trippers from the region a popular hiking destination. He can be reached by a short but steep hike or in part with the aid of a chair lift.

Location

The Blomberg is located in the Bavarian Alps on Wackersberger hallway. At 1203 m there is the managed Blomberghaus. In addition, there are a 1286 m -long summer toboggan run and since 2008 a climbing forest.

Winter sports

In winter the small ski resort attracts with old double chairlift and two surface lifts to mainly day visitors from the surrounding area to Munich. Popular and therefore be very busy on weekends is the 1903 Winter furnished 5.5km toboggan run.
