Zwin

Zwin ( the Zwin ), a watercourse in Belgium ( province of West Flanders) and the Netherlands ( Zeeland ), is an ancient estuary into the North Sea. Until he silted up in the 16th century, he was a 1134 incurred as a result of a storm surge sea arm, which extended as far as Bruges and this important trading city in Flanders access offered via the channelized river Reie to the sea.
