1932 German football championship

The twenty-fifth German football championship brought the first title win of Bayern Munich. After several, mostly disappointing attempts, the Munich succeeded in the great attempt by a 2-0 win over Eintracht Frankfurt. These were the successful revenge for the six weeks earlier suffered defeat in the final of the South German Championship, in which both teams had ever faced. It was the third pure Southern Germany finals in the 1920 season and the season 1925.

Otherwise, it was a season of surprises. Defending champions Hertha BSC reached the championship finals as little as year's finalist TSV 1860 München. There were a variety of final comers like Borussia Fulda, Minerva 93 Berlin, Plauen Subc, SV Hindenburg Olsztyn, Chemnitz PSV or Viktoria Stolp.

The Great Depression gave Germany still firmly in control, the audience continued to fall and the seizure of power by the National Socialists began to emerge already.

The competing associations contributed for the last time from championships. When ATSB won for the second time the team of TuS Nürnberg-Ost, while the Rotsport the FT Jeßnitz won the title. When a master DJK was played after five year break; won the title as before the interruption, the DJK Sparta Nuremberg.
