1982–83 UEFA Cup

The UEFA Cup 1982/83 was the 12th edition of the competition. With the RSC Anderlecht for the first time won a Belgian team the title. In the final, they sat down by against Portuguese giants Benfica.

Mode

The competition was held in six rounds, in home and away matches. In Torgleichstand initially decided the number of away goals scored, then an extension, concluded just the penalty shootout.
