1972â€“73 UEFA Cup

The UEFA Cup 1972/73 was the second edition of the competition and was won by Liverpool FC in the final against Borussia Mönchengladbach. The competition, which was attended by turn 64 club teams, was held in six rounds in home and away matches. In Torgleichstand initially decided the number of away goals scored, then there was an extension and possibly a penalty shootout.
