2002 AIHL season

The 2002 season was the second season of the Australian Ice Hockey League, the highest Australian Hockey League. Masters were for the first time ever in the club's history the Sydney Bears.

Mode

In the regular season, each of the six teams completed a total of 15 games. The top two teams qualified for the championship final. For one victory after regulation time, each team was given two points for a Draws a point and one defeat after regular time zero points.
