2007–08 ECHL season
The 2007/08 season was the 20th regular season of the ECHL. The 25 teams completed in the regular season per 72 encounters. The point of best team in the regular season were the Cincinnati Cyclones, who also won their first Kelly Cup in the play- offs at all.

Team changes
The following changes were made before the start of the season:
- The Long Beach Ice Dogs stopped the game operation.
- The Toledo Storm were inactive because their arena was demolished and had to make way for a new building.
- The Mississippi Sea Wolves returned after two years of inactivity due back by damage to the own arena by Hurricane Katrina in the league.
- The Elmira Jackals of the United Hockey League were included as an expansion team in the league.
- The Trenton Titans changed their name to Trenton Devils.
