2007–08 Liga II
The League II 2007 /08 was the 68th season of the second Romanian football league. It began on 25 August 2007 and ended on 24 May 2008. Between the end of November 2007 until end of February 2008 rested the game operation ( winter break ). Up in the League 1 were FC Braşov, CS Otopeni, FC Arges Pitesti and Gaz Metan Medias.
Mode
The League II was fought in two seasons each with 18 teams. The two teams in every season were promoted to the Football League 1, while the four lowest ranked teams had to stay in the League III. Second teams of first division were not entitled to advancement. For a victory, there were three points, one for a draw and no points for a defeat. Case of a tie at the end of the season not the goal difference, but the direct comparison decided.
