2008–09 International Hockey League season
The 2008/09 season was the 18th regular season of the International Hockey League (until 1997 Colonial Hockey League, United Hockey League until 2007 ). The six teams completed in the regular season each 76 encounters. The point of best team in the regular season were the Fort Wayne Komets, who won the Turner Cup in the play-offs.
