2010 PTT Thailand Open
The Thailand Open 2010 took place from 25 September to 3 October 2010 in Bangkok instead. The main competition was launched on 28 September 2010. They found simultaneously with the Proton Malaysian Open 2010 held in Kuala Lumpur. The tournament was part of the ATP World Tour 250 2010, and was endowed with a total of $ 551,000. None of last year's winner ( Gilles Simon in the individual event, Eric Butorac and Rajeev Ram in double ) came to defend their title.
The field of individual petition consisted of 28 players ( the four top-seeded players received a bye in the first round ), double that of the petition of 16 pairs.
In individual Guillermo García- López won the final against Jarkko Nieminen his second ATP title, after he had turned off the world number one Rafael Nadal in the semifinals.
In doubles Christopher Kas and Viktor Troicki won their first joint ATP title.
