2011–12 Luge World Cup

The Luge World Cup 2011/2012 began on 26 November 2011 at the Austrian Igls and ends on 26 February 2012 at the Russian Paramonovo. The highlight of the season is the Luge World Cup 2012 from February 11 to 12, 2012 in Altenberg.

In the overall rankings to find the points of the actual World Cup races and the points that were acquired from the Nations Cup, in which did not have to automatically qualify for the World Cup qualifying sled race. In the census, this race always connect to the World Cup races. This means that even if the starter not taken up or eliminated in the World Cup, they will if placed before the non- qualified athletes from the Nations Cup without points.
