2011 Men's World Open Squash Championship

The 33rd World Squash Championships (English PSA World Championship ) of the men was held to 6 November 2011 at the Luxor Theatre in Rotterdam, Netherlands on October 28. She was the most lucrative tournament in the PSA World Tour 2011.

It succeeded the Englishman Nick Matthew, successfully defending his title from last year. After victories over smooth Stephane Galifi and Tarek Momen, Matthew had to go the full distance of five sets, before he was able to set at position nine Mohamed El Shorbagy beat. In the quarterfinals, he defeated Peter Barker 3-1, in the semifinals to set at position three Egyptians Karim Darwish clearly 3-0. In the final he met on the set of six French Grégory Gaultier, who in turn had initially won a clear victory against Dylan Bennett and César Salazar. Even Gaultier won his second round only in the fifth set against Laurens Jan Anjema before he benefited in the connection of the injury-related task Ramy Ashours. In the World Squash Championships in 2011, the following prize money and world ranking points were paid or credited for each round is reached.
