Mixed the Australian Open in 2012.
Defending champion Katarina Srebotnik and Daniel Nestor were. They both wanted to compete in this year with other partners, but both pairings withdrew before the start of the competition. In the final, Bethanie Mattek -Sands and Horia Tecau prevailed narrowly defeated Jelena Wesnina and Leander Paes. This was for both of the first Grand Slam title of her career. Paes contrast, it missed after his triumph in the men's doubles, winning two titles in two days.
