Abdelkader Laïfaoui

Abdelkader Laïfaoui (Arabic عبد القادر العيفاوي, DMG ʿ Abd al - ʿ Qādir al - Aifāwī; born 29 July 1981) is an Algerian football player.

Career

Laïfaoui was born in Algeria and began his career in 1999 OMR El Anasser. His debut for the national team, he was on 17 August 2004 in the 2-2 draw against Burkina Faso. In the following years he had to wait for his next appointment to the Algerian selection five years.

At club level, the defender about NA Hussein Dey and CR Bélouizdad came to ES Sétif, where could with his club win the Algerian Cup, the Champions League and the Arab North African Football Championship and on top of that reach the final of the CAF Confederations Cup Laïfaoui.

Due to his good performances he was accepted back into the national squad in August 2009 by national team coach Rabeh Saadane and participated in the African Nations Cup in 2010 partly in Angola, where Algeria failed in the semifinals to eventual winners Egypt. Abdelkader Laïfaoui stands in the Algerian squad for the FIFA World Cup 2010 in South Africa.
