Acid House Kings
The Acid House Kings are a Swedish Twee indie-pop band.
Band History
The band was founded in 1991 by Joakim Ödlund and brothers Niklas and Johan Angergård under the name My Finest Hour. In summer 1991 the band members were attentive during a stay in Hamburg on the German label Marsh - Marigold Records and were there after successful negotiations in 1992 their first EP Play Pop! publish. Then, the group developed the plan to release three albums in intervals of 5 years in the next 10 years. In 1992 appeared the first album Pop, Look & Listen. In 1994, the band released the EP Monaco G. P. and went on a European tour. 1997 came with Advantage Acid House Kings out the second album on which Julia Lanner home for the first time to hear as a singer. At about this time founded Joakim Ödlund, Niklas and Johan Angergård the record label Summer Sound Recordings, in 2001 with the Labrador Records by Bengt cream merged. In the Summer Sound Studios, they took 2002 as scheduled Mondays Are Like Tuesdays And Tuesdays Are Like Wednesdays as a third studio album. However, Joakim Ödlund no longer participated in the sessions, since it was the way to the studio too far. For Julia Lanner home was accepted as a full member of the band. The merger of the label the band was produced and sold from 2002 by Labrador Records, where her album Advantage Acid House Kings was reissued. Now the three remaining band members came to a new 10- year plan. The event began in 2005 released album Sing Along With Acid House Kings. In summer 2007, the band went back into the studio to record a new album. After several interruptions of the recording process appeared in 2011 the album Music Sounds Better With You. For this, the three singles Are We Lovers Or Are We Friends, Would You Say Stop were? and Underwater published.

- Managing Director at Labrador today is Johan Angergård which incidentally also plays at The Legends Club 8.
- Niklas Angergård is also a member of Red Sleeping Beauty, Joakim Ödlund at Double Dan, and Starlet.
- Johan Angergård and Joakim Ödlund played together in the early 90s already Poprace.
