Administrative divisions of Krasnoyarsk Krai

Two of the Rajons, the Taimyrski ( Dolgano - Nenezki ) rayon ( Rajon Taimyr Dolgan and Nenets of ) and the Ewenkijski rayon ( Rajon Evenk ) were up to 31 December 2006 as an independent Taimyr Autonomous District or Evenki Autonomous District federal subjects of Russia ( with each with several Rajons, which were then joined together ) and have to this day a special status. Three of the cities are closed administrative-territorial formations ( SATO ).

The Rajons subdivided into 36 municipalities ( gorodskoje posselenije ) and 484 rural municipalities ( selskoje posselenije ). In the Severo- Jenisseiski rajon there are no municipalities; there all villages are directly subordinate to the Raion. Free community villages are also available in the Rajons Bogutschanski and Turuchanski. The administrative centers of the seven Rajons ( Atschinsk, Bogotol, Yenisejsk, Kansk Minusinsk, Nasarowo, Scharypowo ) do not belong even to the respective Rajons, but form separate city districts.
