Air Do

Hokkaido International Airlines (Jap.北海道 国际 航空 株式会社, Hokkaidō Kokusai Koku Kabushiki - gaisha ), short- Air Do (エア·ドゥ, Ea Du) is a Japanese low-cost airline based in Sapporo and based on the Tokyo International Airport.

History

Hokkaido International Airlines was founded by a poultry farmer in Hokkaido in 1996 and took the end of 1998 the flight operation. Main shareholder is the Japanese financial services provider Mizuho Financial Group, is just 4 % are in free float. The fleet consisted initially of two Boeing 767-300, was later supplemented by another copy as well as two units of the smaller Boeing 737-400.

Hokkaido International Airlines was Japan's first low cost airline tariff system but to fit her under the pressure of the two major Japanese airlines ANA and JAL.

Destinations

Hokkaido International Airlines flew the winter timetable 2007/2008 from Tokyo Haneda Airport to Asahikawa, Hakodate, Sapporo and Ōzora.
