Life

Brendon Whitney came in 1976 as the son of an organist and a jazz musician on the world. He took an early interest in music of all kinds, but there was in the place Hollis few opportunities to pursue his interests. His love for hip-hop was awakened by a television show of the U.S. TV channel NBC, in a few short rap video clips were shown. Inspired by this style of music, he began hip-hop magazines to read and got to Christmas 1992 given his first drum machine.

In 2002, the first and only rap album from Alias ​​, The Other Side of the Looking Glass on Anticon appears. Like most of the other Anticon releases also features The Other Side of the Looking Glass by very abstract song structures and lyrics. The only feature guest is label -mate Doseone of Themselves. Alias ​​has contributed contributions to label samplers or studio albums by labelmates repeatedly since the foundation of Anticon. For example, to label sampler Music for the Advancement of Hip Hop 1998, or as a member of Deep Puddle Dynamics 1999.
