Alseno

Alseno is a northern Italian municipality ( comune ) with 4866 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012) in the province of Piacenza in Emilia -Romagna. The community is located about 27 kilometers southeast of Piacenza and directly borders the province of Parma.

Traffic

Through the municipal area the Autostrada A1 lead from Milan to Rome and the Strada Statale 9 Emilia. As the Via Francigena pilgrimage route leads through the village. The train station of Alseno is on the railway line Milano - Bologna.
