Anatoly Kashirov
Anatoly Andreyevich Kaschirow (Russian Анатолий Андреевич Каширов; born May 19, 1987 in Moscow, RSFSR ) is a Russian professional basketball player. Kaschirow stood at a young age in the squad of CSKA Moscow, as this also twice the highest European club competition ULEB Euro League won in addition to Russian Championships in 2006 and 2008. After a season with Spartak Saint Petersburg he first played in 2009 for two years in the German basketball league at the Central German BC and WALTER Tigers Tübingen and short in Greece, before returning to Spartak Saint Petersburg. After two years he got here a new contract more and joined at the end of 2013 again the relegation WALTER Tigers in Germany.
Career
Kaschirow changed already as a 18 -year-old talent into the professional squad of top Russian club CSKA Moscow, but received at the triumphs in the ULEB Euro League 2005 /06 and 2007/ 08 as well as reaching the final in 2006/ 07 no to little playing time in the highest European league. Along with this, the dominant Russian basketball club and series champion CSKA at this time, three Russian Championships and two Russian Cup wins under coach Ettore Messina, 2006 in conjunction with the European Cup victory as a triple and 2007 as a Double. 2008 Final defeat as in 2007 prevented in the Cup Final defeat in the European Cup a renewed Triple. Despite a multi-year contract with CSKA, he joined because of its small play in 2008 initially to Russian rivals Spartak from Saint Petersburg and one year later the German Erstligaaufsteiger MBC from Weissenfels, to get more playing time. The Erstligarückkehrer MBC could reach the league easily and Kaschirow changed again within the league to rivals WALTER Tigers Tübingen in the first year. With the Tigers, he missed in the BBL season 2010/11 made it into the play-offs for the German championship.
