Andalo

Andalo ( German outdated: Andel ) is a comune in Trentino (Italy ) with 1036 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012). It is located on a saddle in the center of the plateau between the Brenta Dolomites and the Paganella. Parts of its territory are located in the Natural Park Adamello -Brenta.

History

The center has medieval origins and was formerly made up 13 yards ( Bortolon, CADIN, Casa Nova, Clamer, Dos, Fovo, Ghezzi, Melchiori, Monech, Pegorar, Perli, Ponte and Toscana). This fact is now only partially visible because the farms grew together in the course of urban development recently. Only the Pegorar - yard is still off somewhat.

In 1928, Andalo was part of the extended community Molveno, 1947 this incorporation was reversed.

Andalo Lake

The Andalo Lake is a karst lake with no visible inflows or outflows. Its surface can vary considerably depending on rainfall. The lake is situated at 989 m in an area between Andalo and the foot of Piz Galin. He is in a north-south direction is about 1.5 km long and up to 360 m wide. It reaches its greatest depth at 13 m.
