Anna of Saxony, Electress of Brandenburg

Anna of Saxony ( * March 7, 1437 in Meissen, † October 31, 1512 in Dietersheim ) was a princess of Saxony and by marriage Electress of Brandenburg.

Life

Anna was a daughter of the Elector Frederick II of Saxony (1412-1464) from his marriage to Margaret ( 1416/7-1486 ), daughter of Duke Ernst of Austria.

Anna married on November 12, 1458 in Ansbach later to become the Elector Albrecht III. Achilles of Brandenburg ( 1414-1486 ).
