This list contains all the matches of the Argentine national football team of the men of the Asociación del Fútbol Argentino, the Federación Argentina de Football ( 1912-1914 ), the Asociación Amateurs de Football ( 1919-1934 ) and the Liga Argentina de Football ( 1931-1934 ). Not all games over the past three associations are recognized by FIFA as internationals. Some games were played against the team of the Federación Uruguaya de Football, which was founded in 1923 by leading Uruguayan clubs after cleavage of the Asociación Uruguaya de Fútbol.

Argentina has played against all other CONMEBOL members and was there first match for Brazil, Chile, Paraguay and Uruguay, the first opponent of Argentina was in turn. First CONMEBOL member Argentina also played against an African team (Egypt), Angola, Belgium, Ivory Coast, Ireland, Croatia, Libya, Northern Ireland, Portugal, Sweden and South Africa. Argentina is the only opponent from South America to Albania. It happened in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ecuador (highest win a South American team), Paraguay, Slovakia, Uruguay ( in the first game of two South American teams) and Venezuela the highest defeats.
