Arona, Tenerife

Arona is a town in the south of Tenerife with 80 987 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2013). Along with the neighboring municipality of Adeje they manage the tourist centers on the southwest coast of Tenerife. Arona owes its riches both of its tourist center of Playa de Las Américas and Los Cristianos.

At the town square of Arona is a church in a classic Canarian architecture, along with the remarkable city hall.

The town of Arona is conveniently moderately something for offside, while Playa de las Americas and Los Cristianos to Santa Cruz and the Tenerife South Airport on the southern motorway TF-1 can be reached very quickly.
