El Rosario, Tenerife
El Rosario is a municipality with 17,465 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2013 ) in the northeast of the Canary island of Tenerife. It is connected to the eastern neighboring municipality of Santa Cruz de Tenerife on the South motorway TF -1. Other neighboring communities include San Cristóbal de La Laguna in the north, in the south Candelaria, La Matanza de Acentejo and El Sauzal in the west and Tacoronte in the northwest.
The community of El Rosario has an area of 39.42 km ² and extends from 0 m to 905 m above sea level.
