Audi A4

The Audi 80, A4 today called, since the late summer of 1972, the mid-range model from Audi. Internally, this number is also referred to as "B - type". The previous model was the Audi F103 series, which was named after her performance in horsepower than the Audi 60, 75, 80, and Super 90. The name Audi 80 was then taken for the whole series and replaced by A4 in autumn 1994.

The A4 is the most produced vehicle of the company and in 2007 was # 4 on the German registration statistics behind the vehicles VW Golf, VW Passat and BMW 3 Series. Private customers only make up a small part of the A4 new car buyers. In 2008, 75.7 % of all Audi A4 sold in Germany were commercially approved.

In October 2011, the ten millionth vehicle of the B series was produced.
