Auhagen

Auhagen is a municipality in the district of Schaumburg, in Lower Saxony. The municipality is part of the velvet municipality Sachsenhagen and consists of the districts Auhagen and Düdinghausen.

History

During the Hagen colonization of the 13th century the village lying at the Saxony Aue Haeger was created from the castle Sachsenhagen from. Auhagen was located in what was then Dühlwald and was under the rule of the Dukes of Saxe- Lauenburg.
