Aussois

Aussois is a commune with 658 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Savoie in the Rhone -Alpes. It is located in the canton of Modane.

The traditional mountain village is 1,480 meters above sea level at the foot of the Dent Parrachée. It is the starting point of a comprehensive 55 kilometers of slopes ski area, which extends up to 2,750 m.
