Balal Arezou

Belal Arezou (also Balal or Bilal, born December 28, 1988 in Kabul, Afghanistan) is an Afghan football player.

Career

Club career

Arezou grew up in Afghanistan and fled during the Afghan civil war in Norway. Here he played from the age of 14 years in the youth teams of FK Senja, the IK Grane and FK Arendal, before he moved to the youth of Fredrikstad FK. Here, the striker made ​​the leap into the professional squad, where he did not, however, was used. 2009 saw Arezou the Norwegian third division Asker Fotball. After 2009 was third in the final table, could Asker Fotball 2010 championship gain in the Fair Play ligaen. 2011 is, however, rose directly from again.

On February 9, 2013 Belal Arezou was loaned to the Indian first division club Churchill Brothers SC. National

Arezou played for the first time at the South Asian Games 2010 with the Afghan U-23 national team. 3 July 2011 Belal Arezou scored only as a second player of his nation after Obaidulla Karimi a goal in a World Cup qualifier in the 1-1 draw against Palestine in the qualification for the World Cup 2014.

In December 2011, the striker took part in the South Asian Federation Cup. He scored the first goal of the tournament in the 1-1 draw against India. When Afghan record win against Bhutan (8:1) Arezou scored four goals, which he has succeeded so far the only Afghans. He was elected "Man of the Match" and was captain of his national team. After his 1-0 winning goal against Nepal in 101 minutes they reached the final, which they lost to India but with 0:4 and only reached the second place.

Also, to qualify for the AFC Challenge Cup 2014 Arezou was again the hero of the Afghan football; He shot each of the 1-0 winner against Sri Lanka and Mongolia, and had thus a large proportion of the qualification.

On September 11, 2013 Arezou won the South Asian Federation Cup to have, however, taken without itself.
