Being Julia

Being Julia is a Canadian- American -Hungarian- British film comedy of 2004 after the Roman Theater ( Theatre ) by William Somerset Maugham. Directed by István Szabó. Annette Bening for her role was an actress who tries to compensate for the failure of their marriage by plunging into a relationship with a younger man, nominated for Best Actress Oscar. The novel was filmed in 1962 with Lilli Palmer in the lead role.

Action

London's West End late thirties of the 20th century. Julia Lambert is a Your old, but still celebrated actress in the theater of her husband Michael. The external facade of an intact marriage is beginning to crumble. In addition, Julia feels drained and unattractive and needs a break.
