Because here but only a few connecting trains are provided, and long delays are more the rule than exception, especially when it comes to Umstiegen impairments in pan-European long-distance transport. These problems are the limited capacity of the old terminal station, the for through connections from the former Yugoslavia built but not yet gone into operation new station Station Belgrade Centre and the sluggish double-track extension and the underdeveloped rail infrastructure in the railway junction Belgrade to blame.
