Bello is a town in Antioquia Department, Colombia. The city is located in the north of Medellín Aburrátal and is part of the metropolitan region of Valle de Aburrá. Bello is with 371 591 inhabitants the second largest city in Aburrátal and in Antioquia.
Geography
Bello is situated at an altitude of about 1250 meters, ten kilometers north of Medellin. At the city limits in the north of San Pedro de los Milagros, in the east of Copacabana, in the west Medellin and San Jerónimo and southern Medellin.
Traffic
Bello is connected to the metro network of Medellín.
Sports
In Bello is since 2014, the football club Deportivo Rionegro resident who plays in the Colombian second division. The club plays its home games at the Estadio Tulio Opsina. Bello was a venue of various competitions in South America Games that were held in Medellín in 2010.
