Bellovesus

Bellovesus is a form of the Gallic legend. He should be invaded by 600 or 400 BC, with his people in northern Italy.

Migrations of Bituriges

The Bellovesus saga is narrated by the Roman historian Livy, Ab urbe condita in his work libri CXLII. According to him, Bellovesus to have been the son of the sister of the king Ambicatus. His family belonged to the tribe of Bituriges who were the most powerful Gallic tribe at that time and therefore each the king of all Gaul presented.
