Bérig-Vintrange

Bérig -Vintrange is a commune of 239 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Moselle in the Lorraine region, which consists of the two districts Bérig ( German mountain) and Vintrange ( German Wintringen ). The municipality is located in the arrondissement of Forbach and Canton Grostenquin.

History and Sights

The district Wintringen was destroyed in the Thirty Years' War.

The church is called to its west tower with 1784. It includes a carved Pieta from the 15th century, to its south side an ossuary.
