Berkay Tolga Dabanli ( born July 27, 1990 in Frankfurt am Main ) is a German -Turkish football player who is under contract with 1.FC Nuremberg since January 2013.

Career

Berkay Dabanli came as the son of Turkish parents in Frankfurt am Main on the world. He began in the youth teams of various local clubs playing football and instead, after scouts had become aware of him, the youth of FSV Frankfurt. In the summer of 2009, he was then placed on the reserve team FSV Frankfurt II and, in his first season, 29 league games.

For the season 2010/11 he joined Bayer 04 Leverkusen. Here he played exclusively in the reserve team Bayer 04 Leverkusen II

For the 2011/12 season he committed the Turkish first division side Kayserispor. In his first year he graduated from the end of season two league games and a cup game. After one and a half seasons for Kayserispor he parted by mutual agreement of this club.

End of January 2013 signed Dabanli the German Bundesliga 1 FC Nuremberg a contract until the end of the season 2012/13, which was later extended until 2015. On 3 February, he completed his first Bundesliga game, after he came to the end of the season several times used. The following season he was in the first three games on the court, but then had to give way to the more experienced central defenders and sat mostly only on the bench.
